We are seeking inclusive and committed Certified Lab Technicians to work in our fast-paced, 24-hour operating manufacturing environment. The Certified Lab Technician (CLT) is responsible for inspecting and reviewing the quality and food safety of Frito-Lay products you know and love. Although you will start with Frito-Lay, this job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo. Here are some of the tasks you could expect to perform during the workday in this role:
* Conduct analytical testing on finished product and raw materials utilizing chemicals and state-of-the-art lab equipment. Report results accordingly
* Performing calibrations including periodic maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on laboratory equipment to include follow-up with site maintenance or outside vendors is necessary
* Use computer software to capture any products identified with potential quality or food safety risks and communicate quality issues with all levels of the site
* Performing visual and taste testing procedures with Processing department to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded
